Activity 1. Publishing docx and PDF documents (text documents).
- For this activity you need your text document created with Google Docs (Unit 3_Office) .
- First create a image text from here to introduce your own text document (teic41/2_xx: my document from Google Docs). Download it and then upload it to your Classroom/u5/files.
- Now, from your website, insert your text image beneath the link Home.
- Once you have located your file (teic4ESO1/2_ text.docx) in your Drive, click on Insert/Docs and select your document. Then resize the box with your file in it and place it centered.
- Now insert a text as a title (My text document (docx) as PDF document) beneath the docx document.
- Locate the PDF version of your document (teic4ESO1/2_ text.pdf). If you do not have it, you need to save your docx file as PDF file. Open your document from Google Docs and then click on File/Download/PDF document.
- Upload the PDF file to your Classroom/u5/files. Now locate the PDF file in your Drive, select it and click on the chain on the icon bar on the right of the screen to get the link (copy the link).
- Now, from your website, insert <> and paste the link. Resize the box so you can view the whole document.
- Publish your website and check if everything works: you see your docx file and your PDF file.
Activity 2. Publishing animated texts
- Insert/Images to create a divider between sections. Upload the same image as the one on the home page.
- Now Insert a new text (title) beneath the divider with this slogan: My animated texts (Merriweather, 60, bold, red, center aligned).
